Subject: Re: [PCW] SNEEZING
Hi All!
This is my first submission, after having just joined the list, (if I am
doing it right, if not...well you aren't reading this)!!!!
I am about to have a Power Catamaran built (35 feet ...17' beam).
Can anyone tell me what design features can be incorporated to eliminate
sneezing and windward bow spray?
Thanks very much for anyone commentary.
Have a Cat-terrific day!
Mike

Thought I would contact you off list at first. And I may not respond later
today as I am just now leaving for an afternoon holiday party
Have you picked out a design yet?
Does it have a history?
Are you building in Thailand perhaps? (thought I may have recognized and
eMail
address)
I might suggest you look back thru the archives of this forum for some other
discussion of sneezing. (there is also a method to use google to search thru
these archives and those of other forums)
I don't recall for sure but you might use the search tool on BoatDesign.net
forums as well. (sneeze, powercat, etc)

I have some other thoughts on the subject but don't have time this morning to
put them together.

The best way to search the archives of Power Catamaran List and its
sister forums is to use Google.
Go to http://www.google.com and enter your search term, followed by
site:samurai.com (which is where the archive is stored).
For example, to search for "sneezing", try
sneezing site:samurai.com
To search for posts on a particular make of power cat, use the name,
as in the following examples:
lagoon site:samurai.com
pdq site:samurai.com
manta site:samurai.com
Sometimes you will find that Google is out of synch with the archives
and you will get a wrong post. In that case, click on the "Cached"
link and you will get Google's own copy of the post.
All of the above is predicated on specific and descriptive subject
lines being used by all of us when posting to the List. So, please,
don't generalize in subject lines, but use specifics. If you're
writing about a specific boat, be sure to put the make in the subject
line.
