Habitat Improvement Coordinator Position at Pierce Conservation District

Pierce Conservation District seeks F/T Habitat Improvement Coordinator.  This is a technical position with an emphasis on knotweed control.  Primary duties include management of the Nisqually and South Prairie Creek knotweed projects, and coordination of the District's annual native plant sale.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in invasive plant species control methods, integrated pest management, riparian and wetland ecology, and/or natural sciences; and at least one year of related experience.  Other requirements include WSDA Public Operator's Pesticide License with an Aquatics Endorsement, and experience with GPS Trimble units, Arc GIS, and GPS mapping software.
