National Coalition for Literacy Discussion List
View all threadsGot an interesting question from a colleague over the weekend. She asked me which organizations nationally are the most “influential” on teaching literacy — that is, who people listen to on literacy development and instruction. (And not necessarily adult instruction - she is thinking K12 because she works in that space.) Looking for organizations with a reputation for high expertise among practitioners, not necessarily the most influential in policy circles.
Again not adult literacy per se but figured I’d ask this list. What do you all think?
