Since I was creating a new identity in many systems I implemented a
new password scheme.
I highly recommend Roboform:

Not only does it automagically fill in web forms, it will maintain
separate passwords for each site. These are securely encrypted and
you only need to remember one master password to access them
all. They also have a version that fits on a thumb drive that you
can take to internet cafes and the like.
