BARNACLE GOOSE (Ottawa): Vincent Fyson photographed one on Birchgrove Road
east of Navan on October 19.
Harlequin Duck (Lambton): On October 19, Kiah Jasper and James Holdsworth
had one flyby Ipperwash Beach. The same day, a different party, including
Ezra Campanelli had three past Grand Bend.
Harlequin Duck (Northumberland): The one found last week by Lev Frid off
Gull Island was reported again on October 16.
Harlequin Duck (Toronto): Steven McClellan photographed one off Tommy
Thompson Park on October 19. Presumably the same bird was reported again on
October 20 by Helen Desjardins.
Western Sandpiper (Norfolk): Ron Ridout found one at Turkey Point beach on
October 17.
Willet (Elgin): Reuven Martin found one at Port Stanley on October 16 that
remained to at least October 18.
Long-tailed Jaeger (Lambton): Deryl Nethercott reported one off Canatara
Park on October 19.
Black-legged Kittiwake (Bruce): Bob and Anne-Marie Taylor reported one of
Kincardine on October 20.
Black-legged Kittiwake (Lambton): Three were reported off Grand Bend on
October 18, and up to ten there on October 19. Observers at Ipperwash Beach
reported one there on October 19.
Black-legged Kittiwake (Norfolk): Ron Ridout and Stu Mackenzie reported an
adult at Turkey Point beach on October 17.
Sabine's Gull (Lambton): A juvenile was photographed by Ezra Campanelli off
Grand Bend Beach on October 19.
Sabine's Gull (Toronto): Jack Alvo reported one off Rouge Beach Park on
October 17.
Pacific Loon (Lambton): James Holdsworth reported one off Kettle Point on
October 18. Another was reported the same day at Grand Bend.
Pacific Loon (Simcoe): Up to two birds were reported this week from the
Barrie waterfront, mostly from Minet's Point and Centennial Park.
Cattle Egret (COCHRANE): Ken and Angie Williams reported one from the golf
course in Smooth Rock Falls on October 14.
Cattle Egret (Durham): Charmaine Anderson found one off Columbus Rd west of
Brooklin on October 17 that was seen by many to October 18.
Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to six birds were reported this week from
Queenston.
Black Vulture (Simcoe): Presumably the bird found last week by Karen Lowe
was photographed by Darlene Deemert photographed on Flos Rd 7 W northwest
of Barrie on October 17.
TROPICAL KINGBIRD (Essex): The bird found by Eddie Beaubien in Brock Park
in Windsor on October 10 was seen by many to at least October 20.
Harris's Sparrow (Essex): Blake Mann found one at Hillman Marsh on October
16.
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER (AUDUBON'S) (Toronto): Owen Strickland photographed
one at Toronto Islands on October 17.
Yellow-throated Warbler (Toronto): Sean HH found one at Ashbridge's Bay
Park on October 16 that was seen by many but not relocated on subsequent
days.
TOWNSEND'S WARBLER (Chatham-Kent): Ric and Ann McArthur found one visiting
their yard in Rondeau on October 16 that was seen again October 17.
Summer Tanager (Grey): William Gray photographed one in Owen Sound at Kelso
Beach Park on October 18.
Dickcissel (Chatham-Kent): Black Mann reported two from Keith McLean CA on
October 14.
Dickcissel (Durham): Janet Lafond photographed one near Heber Down CA on
October 18.
Dickcissel (Peterborough): Two reports coming from nocturnal flight call
stations this week included one over Millbrook the night of October 14/15
recorded by Jeff Stewart and one over Lakefield the night of October 15/16
recorded by Iain Rayner.
