I don't have time to participant in anything else. That said, when we first were preparing to sail to Cuba in 1997, we practiced MOB, especially at night and found the most important tool to have aboard was a MOB pole (a heavily weighted tall pole, wrapped with reflective tape, with a flag and a light, with a tethered line for the MOB to hang onto if possible). I can tell you from our experiences, that a head in the water, in any weather other than dead calm is IMPOSSIBLE to find. This is what needs to be practiced NOT getting people back on board. Get some cheap balls about the size of a head and throw one overboard. Then try to find it. Spread out the time to look for them from instantly to 30 minutes. See how few you really find. Tommy
