Just received a note on a motorcycling list about a "canvas" company that makes "lap robes" for motorcyclists wishing or having to ride in bad weather; i.e. northeastern USA. This is a sideline for the Potomac Canvas Co in the D.C. area. Their primary job is covers, etc. for boats. Their website shows many custom jobs they have done.
