Observation start time: 06:30:00
Observation end  time: 12:00:00
Total observation time: 5.5 hours

Official Counter:        Chris Burris

Observers:

Visitors:
Several throughout observation period.

Weather:
Cloudless and rather humid to begin the day; some cumulus moved in
mid-morning as the humidity dropped. Wind was low moderate NNE/N with
occasional gusts, weakening near end of count period.

Raptor Observations:
Sharp-shin and Broad-wing numbers are building, with a number of kettles of
the latter in the 25-40 range. The wind appeared stiffer and quite
northerly higher up, such that a couple of kettles drifted over the lake
for a bit.

Non-raptor Observations:
37 species overall (including raptors); most unusual was a flyby Greater
Yellowlegs calling near the cliff proper. eBird list here:
https://ebird.org/checklist/S118292646

Predictions:
Wind is expected to begin weak NE and shift to S as the day progresses, so
big numbers will probably not materialize.
