Hey all
For those who are new to our neighborhood---this is one of the premier events of our neighborhood.  For many years there have been fun things happening on Halloween.  Years have had different features but each one has brought a big turnout of kids.  Do be careful and drive slowly.  The streets will be full of ghosts, goblins, princesses, and favorite characters of the year.
Hot dogs at the Beebe's have been a big hit for adults and kids. I remember one year when one daughter had on a poodle skirt which Jed commented on.  She replied "I bet you were alive when they were popular!"  Truth.
We have Disney Halloween music we have played out the front window.  I still see the little princess twirling and dancing up our sidewalk.
And then there was the little bitty boy who looked over the candy bowls and then up at me with big sad eyes and said "Do you have any Chicken Nuggets?"  I think that baby was hungry!!!
Sadly we will miss this year but will leave candy with our neighbor to give out in our stead. On the happy side, we will be in Seattle visiting Scott and his wife.
My grandson, now 15 and lving in New Zealand with his family, still remembers the fun Halloweens here.  I thank all of you who have made this neighborhood so wonderful and caring.  We truly need each other.
My best,Julia
