In answer to Paul's question:
Position: 440 0'N, 1480 45' E
I'm trying to make sense of Mike's position. What kind of globe has 440
degrees N, or 1480 degrees E? Or does he mean
44Degrees, 0Min, 0Sec N by 148Degrees 0Min 45Sec E?
The email program Samurai uses converts the degree symbol to a zero. That
is why I substitute it with a 'D' when I do the 'Idlewild' postings to PUP
for position, course heading, and temperature. The program also won't
reproduce a quotation mark properly, although it will do an apostrophe, or
single quotation mark '.
