Tacoma's Fateful Fourth
Saturday, October 30 - 1:30pm
Tacoma Historical Society Museum
406 Tacoma Avenue South
On July 4, 1900, Tacoma experienced one of the worst trolley disasters in United States history. A streetcar overfilled with revelers plunged down an embankment, killing 44 people.
Hear the story from Russell Holter, who spent 17 years meticulously researching the accident. He will read from and sign copies of his book at the Tacoma Historical Society Museum, 406 Tacoma Avenue South, where you can also enjoy our current exhibits.
Admission is free, all are welcome!
Thank you,
Kim
