I am from Montevideo,Uruguay, and my original idea was to purchase a
trailerable pilothouse motorsailor. However, there were not many
affordable options. The MacGregor 29 lacks an enclosed pilothouse, and
the Wanderer 31 PilotHouse m/s by Nimble Boats is too expensive.
So, some people recommended me that I purchase a catamaran i order
to gain fuel economy, and I am considering the possibility,
If the TomCat 24 was available diesel engined,it could be an option
maybe...And I think that maybe someone can invent a TRAILERABLE cat
or multihull motorsailor..maybe something like the Farrier F-36
PilotHouse trimaran, or a smaller version of the Fisher 28 Catamaran
Motorsailor.
Info will be welcome.
Welcome aboard, Fabian!
There are a number of choices available for small trailerable power
cats with cruising capabilities, including TomCat, MotorCat, World
Cat, ProKat, Twin Vee, plus all that's available in Australia.
Keep us posted on your search.
