Im feeling like these guys are all alone in a big ocean.  I want to find a
good map, put it on my web site and chart daily progress.  Anyone with a
good jpg (1024x768)of the E coast of Africa to Australia?  Or do you know if
anyone else is graphically charting their progress?

Have you looked at Google Earth?  Looking at their site the vastness of the
ocean is amazing and no land in site.
