Come and interact with the tactile paintings of local Muckleshoot artist Coyote, in his upcoming exhibit "Coyote Rising From the Ashes," exploring the extraordinary spirit animals that inhabit our world, giving us protection, resilience, and encouragement to overcome all obstacles. Coyote encourages gentle touching of his work after an accident blinded him in 2020. He retaught himself to paint and rose from the ashes with the help of his spirit animal. Visit lakewoldgardens.org to learn more about the exhibit and listen to his extraordinary story for greater understanding of healing and growth.
Coyote Rising from the Ashes opens on Friday the 24th during regular hours. If you'd like to meet Coyote in person after hearing his story, please visit lakewoldgardens.org/fairyfest to get tickets to his opening reception with refreshments on Friday at 5:30 pm. Call 253-584-4106 for more information.
