Mailman, the software that runs the List, strips attachments to as an
anti-virus measure.

Hi Georgs;
I'm forwarding the response sent to me by John Winter.  He wrote the PCW
list asking about master berth placement, and I gave him my thoughts on
master head placement.  I think he solved the problem very well, can't wait
to see his 40'.  Too bad this can't be posted to the list, because of the
attachments, so the list could see the results of their input on master
berth placement.
Take care,
Chris Byer

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your feedback. I re-arranged the layout on the 55 from your
comments, managed to get the head with only one step down from the
master level. The challenge is headroom and tunnel clearance in the
master forward arrangement but the layout attached may be the answer.
I will send you details of the 40 once ready. Much appreciate the
feedback.
Kind Regards,

John Winter

Dear John;

Once you decide which way to put the master berth, put the master head
en suite and on the same level as the master stateroom.  Try to resist
the urge to put it down steps into one of the bows.  This would help the
older owner who has to get-up in the middle of the night to empty his
bladder half-asleep.  See the master stateroom on the Endeavour
TrawlerCat 40 for an ideal layout, although some think the berth is too
far forward.

Thanks for asking the PCW list,

Chris Byer

How about that! The attachments appear in the archives--

--as I expected but were carried in email as well. I must have
fiddled the settings without realizing it.

Quite frankly, I'm not certain it's a good idea to allow for the
transmission of attachments on Power Catamaran List. There is the
risk of transmitting worms and viruses, and not everyone appreciates
attachments they have not specifically requested. Additionally, folks
on dial-up may face long download times.

What do you think? Send me an email
mailto:georgs@powercatamaranworld.com with your preference in this
matter. Do not post your comments to the List so not to clutter
traffic. I'll post a summary after responses have ended.
