GK
Georgs Kolesnikovs
Thu, Mar 23, 2006 10:57 AM

Date/time:                  Mar 23, 2006 12:00 local
Position at noon:        15003' S & 125019' E
Crew                          Ben, Brad, & Kevin
Goal:                          Explore Kimberley area

Remarks:

Anchored in Hunter River and took the 'Sidekick'
up 2 branches,  fantastic cliffs and canyons.
Saw a 4 foot Croc on a rock, sleeping.  We got
right up to it.  We took some pictures and it
didn't move until Brad touched it with a paddle
and it quickly disappeared. Cliffs 200 to 300
meters high so great scenery.  Nice breeze for a
nice relaxing evening.  Today storm went through
at 10:00.
