Henry, do you have any information you  can share with the List about the new
PDQ 45 Powercat that also is in the  works, after the 41?

Georgs,

He's not saying much to me either.  All he'll say is that  the 45 (or 46?),
if there is one, is at least three years away.  He  says Simon (Slater, PDQ
pres) talks too much!  According to Rob, some of  what he says is wishful
thinking.  (Of course Rob is a salesman, and  there's nothing worse for sales than
talking about the newer, better product  that's coming in a year or two.  So who
knows?)  I gather there  is a plan afoot to move production of the 34
Powercat to the USA  -- but Rob says the Edenton, NC location is by no means a done
deal,  they're still considering several options (including one on the
Chesapeake  Eastern Shore).  They'll maintain their present Canadian facilities to
build the larger boats including the 44 Antares (sailboat), 41 Powercat and
eventually a 46 Powercat.

I'll let you know if I hear anything further.
