A wild night on the River. SailFlow reported a steady 18 -22 southerly with
gusts up to 25 mph.

A special congratulations to Ernie Schlesinger and Joanne Smolen in
Windseeker, winning the Non-Spinnaker D Division. Well done, guys!

We're all hoping Irene goes eastward and skips our area, but plan now for
steps to secure your boat - when and how. As of this writing the Leukemia
Cup Regatta is still on, but keep tabs on your computer tomorrow and Friday
