Dear Tacoma environmentalists, As you are aware, our Salish Sea is home to many endangered species. According to the EPA, as of January 2011, 113 marine species and sub-species were formally listed as being at risk or vulnerable to extinction, including: 56 birds, 37 fish, 15 mammals, 3 invertebrates, 2 reptiles. All these creatures depend on a clean Salish Sea to survive into the future. Yet, incredibly, millions and millions of plastic wrapped ads are randomly thrown into our environment for commercial purposes. So far we have received no support from our government agencies to put a stop to this commercial pollution. Please sign the petition below. Hundreds of us have done so already.
