Fellow Attorneys:
Under the "Town" form of government, may the mayor designate a committee, of two town trustees, without placing the item on an agenda and obtaining trustee approval?
If you believe the mayor has the authority to do this, then may the committee take action by only two members between meetings without trustee approval on an Agenda?
Would your answer be different if the facts applied to the Council/Manager form of government?
Thank you,
Kay Wall
