Tom, Reid – You/re certainly aware there is frustration in the neighborhood as a result of owning a gate that remains locked. And it is growing now that the one-ways have been implemented. It would be very helpful if you could share whatever information you have available. Understand you are not yet able to provide a definitive projection of an outcome and/or timeline. But any info you can share related to the issues would be helpful. It seems to be very simple – it’s a public thoroughfare…we pay taxes…can you provide a summary of the issues that are at the center of the discussion? If there is a public interest at stake, common sense would seem that reducing frontage road congestion would prevail over the privacy of a person whose property is literally a junk yard. Out of curiosity where does the money come out of to fix those roads beyond our gate? Being that they are public roads does the care and maintenance come out of the taxes we pay? If so, we have every right to use the roads as much as they do.
