Can I handle a 36' cat alone? I had no troubles handling a 24.5 Four Winns
through the Mississippi locks. Or maybe I should look at a 34' or smaller
cat.
If you ran the Four Winns through the Mississippi locks, then you
know successful singlehanding requires that you always think and plan
ahead. Thus, I should think you would not have a hard time running a
36-footer on your own.
Some folks maintain that larger boats are actually easier to handle,
only more difficult to maintain.
What is the 36-foot cat you're looking at?
