I have also had several missing packages this week. Today I actually had three packages that were said to have been delivered at 5pm. Inside our mailbox. I actually ended up seeing the mailman at 6:40ish and asked him about my packages and he was able to give me one that he had clearly scanned as being put in the mailbox almost two hrs prior to catching up to him. Pretty sure I wouldn’t have received my package had I not been able to flag him down...🙁

The Boerne Post Office is just awful and to be honest we have had better luck at sending packages to our house than my Boerne business address. Here is what we have found out: Number one is that they can’t keep full time dedicated delivery people so we may have several different folks per week so no one person is accountable for our routes. A lot of the delivery people will scan the boxes as being delivered either before they even leave the sort facility. Some will scan them as delivered and still LEAVE them at the sort facility with no intention of delivering them. They don’t want to have to get out of their vehicle to deliver to doorsteps/offices. Therefore they scan as delivered, leave it at the sort facility and leave it for the carrier the next day to do their job. The trick they pull at my office is to say that the business wasn’t open at the time they attempted to deliver which is always a lie. This is why I try to use ups/fedex whenever possible even though it’s more expensive. You know you will get your package this way. Unfortunately Amazon is using USPS more and more.
