As I was on "hold" with the sheriff's department a few days ago (on hold NOT in hold), the recorded message advised that all recyclables should be placed in the recycle bin UNBAGGED. If the plastic containers, newspapers, etc are in a large bag and tied shut, they will not be sorted at the recycling center but treated it as garbage. ~Patty
