Ben, Congrats on your PDQ purchase. We must have just missed you at the
Miami show as we visited with Dick and Carol w/Rhumbline shortly after
your order. Rhumbline is a first class dealer and they are fine folks.
I own hull #68 and we simply love this boat. In regard to your question
about the davits, just get them. Why limit your options for the future.
If you don't enjoy the pleasures of "dink'n" now, you may in the
future. Without the davits you would affect resale in my opinion. In
regard to the other posts mentioning the "silent flush" head, yes it is
not silent but unless you want to manually pump your waste, get the
electric unit....Push a button and it's gone... Just my personal
preference. I agree that you should get the 100 hp Yanmars. As far as
the Sony radio, I have had no regrets with this unit. I did bring the XM
module and antenna to the factory for them to install. I love my XM.
Also get a remote commander for the flybridge so you can control the
sound from above. Jim S forgot to mention to get steps installed in the
front lazeretts. They are deep and cavernous and will swallow up your
gear. The steps make access into these caves easier. Feel free to
contact me with any other PDQ issues or q's. Again congrats. Sandy

Sandy,
Thanks for your response. I do have a couple of other questions.
Do you have an opinion on the tank monitors for the holding & water tanks?
Also, I have a problem with fire on a boat! Do you have the electric
stove top or the propane? If the propane, have you had any potential
safety related problems?
Thanks again,
Ben
