Discontinuation of lists

Hi all
After discussion with Tom and others, it seems that there is not enough interest to merit continuing a list.  At this point, it seems to be generating more confusion and duplicate efforts.  The outdated list will be removed from the website.  If you need recommendations, the facebook page seems to be quite active and with many folks willing to help you.  Others have suggested Next Door.
If you or a friend or relative would like to let your neighbors know about trustworthy businesses, I think the facebook group might be a good place to do that, especially if you want a more private place to let other know about neighborhood kids willing to babysit or provide other helping services.  There is always this email list as well.
I appreciate the opportunity to work for the neighborhood.  This seems to be an idea that has served it purpose for awhile and now needs to be retired, much like this neighbor.
My best to all,Julia
PS.  If you have books you are culling, please drop them at my front door or let me know where to pick them up.  I am making a run to donate to Carver Library where my daughter worked for several years.  This is an underfunded library that is a part of SAPL.  We are in the SAPL service area and I encourage you to look at the many wonderful offerings they provide. My house is 9014 Woodland Trace

Thanks Julia for keeping this list going for many years. I, personally, have benefited from it. I’ve also added recommendations on the Facebook page, so it’s seen by more neighbors.
