The 200 gallon unit I had was not baffled--but it was either full or empty. The containment vessel--was the bilge....I have not seen any secondary system. The good bladder tanks are quite expensive and well built. I don't think I would want one on the foredeck personally--at least not 400 gallons! Bob Austin
