___________

The City of Auburn and the Auburn Arts Commission are pleased to present the work of the Jaleh Sadravi at the Community Center Gallery, on view February 20th - April 9th, 2020.

Sadravi is a mixed media Northwest artist, whose powerful portraits are intended to "tell stories of people of color whose voice and story are often silenced." Inspired by everyday people and using language as a key visual element to explore ideas of identity in their work, the artists believes that "there is much to learn from the wisdom of our neighbors and I enjoy finding ways to showcase these lessons as a model to my audience."
