Dear fellow dawgs: We are five weeks away for the opening round of our annual Road Dawgs' 2020 Ryder Cup competition between Team El Rey and Team Verde. As of today, we have only 20 players registered and paid for this event. To have a complete and exciting competition, we would require a minimum of 24 players to organize fun and exciting match play competitions between the two teams. Therefore, if you can play our Ryder Cup next month, please let us know by the close of business on Friday, August 21, 2020. If we cannot get FOUR more players, we will cancel our Ryder Cup this year. You can email, call, sign-up to play via our website or contact one of us before the extended deadline this coming Friday. Below are the tentative details of the 2020 Road Dawgs' Ryder Cup: Date: Thurs - 9/24/2020 to Sat - 9/26/2020 1st & 2nd round: Thursday - 9/24/2020 @ La Purisima GC. 7:30A & 1:30P Team Format 3rd & 4th round: Friday - 9/25/2020 @ Mission Club GC; 8A back-nine shotgun & 2P front nine shotgun Team Format. Dinner after the 4th round at Mission Club's Clubhouse 5th round: Sat - 9/26/2020 @ La Purisima, 9:30A- Individual Matches Cost: $350 Dinner Options: Roasted Chicken/Baked Alaskan Cod/Grilled Top Sirloin. All dinner comes with house salad, choice dessert (cheesecake or chocolate lava cake), and non-alcoholic beverage. Please make your dinner selection when signing up.
