WTB: OP16FJ or LT1022

DC

I'm looking for an OP16FJ or LT1022 (which I think would make an OK replacement) to repair a 7081 meter.

Ideally in TO99 metal can, but DIP8 if I can't get one in TO99

I'm aware that I can buy LT1022 in DIP8 direct from Linear Technology, but they want about $40 to ship them to me which make them rather expensive.

I also know that there are some OP16s on eBay, but they too are rather costly.

Is anyone able to help?

Regards,
David Partridge

Watch the ebay opamps, some of the LTZ1000's for instance are second hand, but have "new" legs welded on to make them look unused, the same thing happens with other devices too.

I will try and look at stocks over the weekend, but I dont think I have any of those.

Hi,

Where can one buy the genuine used LTZ1000 without the welded on legs?

Caveat Emptor,

It was on a newsgroup post or a forum post where a Chinese member explained the various forms of trckery and provided pics of each type of fudge as well as genuine ones. Some are just banged out of a hot PCB in India by poor labour on less than a dollar a day pay from scrap equipment.

Yes I saw that one, that was posted here. In fact I was hoping for a
recommendation from him (or others).

New LTZ1000CH seem to be unavailable at present.
