Amazing opportunity for dance educators! *4-6 month long term sub* *teaching dance K-8 full time at Elk Plain School of Choice *(a school of the arts and sciences) in Spanaway - starting in mid November. The current teacher (Lauren Houtz) will be going on maternity leave and is looking for a sub who enjoys creativity and collaboration. As a long term sub, you will have the chance to put together *projects or shows of your choosing*; *collaborate with amazing educators* across the arts disciplines; and do *infinitely creative* things with a population of students who are excited about the arts and dance. A teaching cert is ideal - if not, an emergency cert can be obtained. Lauren is available to help train this sub for the position and coach them as needed, including bringing them in for some smaller sub jobs here and there before taking leave.
