I personally would prefer to sell complete turn key boats, but do to the
"traditional" way the industry markets, we as a builder who sell direct are
forced to play the "game" of advertising a base price, which includes what has
become traditionally expected as "standard equipment". I feel Manta offers a
much better equipped boat at the standard base price than many others, but
purely from a marketing aspect we need to be in the same relative condition as
our competitors for comparison sake or run the risk that we will look
expensive in the event a potential buyer does not do the do diligence. Based
on this phenomenon the proper outfitting of new yachts has become a much more
crucial aspect of the purchasing process and that is why I developed the "Pac
systems", which enable the purchaser to understand what is involved in a
"complete" yacht and the associated costs. With the Pac systems, as the
manufacturer we are controlling the quality of the finished product all the
way through the commissioning process, while still offering the consumer the
ability to tailor the boat to their needs and use, and allowing them to get to
the TRUE bottom line right now.

Hi Pat
I agree entirely with what you say and your pack system is as good or better
than most.
Breaking the mold is incredibly difficult.
