A member is looking for policies/procedures for law enforcement agencies that are handling Extreme Risk Protection Orders (a.k.a “Red Flag Laws”). The member is from a state that recently enacted legislation that in part allows a law enforcement agency to seek an Extreme Risk Protection Order under certain circumstances. They would appreciate any policies that others have crafted on the subject if they are willing to share.
