From Russ Smiley, John Marshall: 01/09/15 - Stratford, Sikorsky Estuary Walk -- 12:15 PM; one Orange-crowned Warbler along the parkway where previously reported. From Chuck Imbergamo: 01/09/15 - Madison, Hammonasset Beach State Park -- 4:15 PM; Grasshopper Sparrow in the north side of the Nature Center lot. He looks to be OK and was eating quite a bit. From Russ Smiley: 01/09/15 - Milford, Silver Sands State Park -- 5:00 PM: Short-eared Owl spotted by Tom Murray flying over field beyond fence to northwest of parking lot. It landed on fence for good extended views in the quickly fading light.
