About Jim Teeters:

Jim Teeters is a retired social worker. He has published poetry in several anthologies. He offers poetry writing for children and in a local homeless shelter for women and he currently leads the poetry club at the Kent Senior Center. He is the author of nine poetry collections and the instructional books, Teach with Style (ATD Press July 2013) and Going Intergenerational (Barclay press 2010). His latest poetry books are Because of This - Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching: How to Live, Love and Lead and Beware of Dog: Fun Poems for School Kids published by MoonPath Press. He will have a book published early next year, Short Stories of Wonder, Danger and Shame (Olympia Publishers).

It is nearly time for us to start the deinstallation of our first exhibit in the Postmark. We have been honored to show this body of work for the first quarter of our opening to the public and received many positive comments and reactions to the show.

This art program is coordinated through the City of Auburn, Parks, Arts & Recreation Department with the support of the Auburn Arts Commission. Questions? Contact Allison Hyde, Arts Program Supervisor at 253-931-3043 or arts@auburnwa.govmailto:arts@auburnwa.gov
