Beware of water that I estimate is 5.5 feet mlw about 1.5 miles North of
the Ben Sawyer bridge 400 yards South of green spar 117A. We draw 7 feet
and had to stop for 5 hours for higher  tide. Also bridge tender had 'no
idea' what the clearance of the bridge was and did not even have the lights
on well after sunset until we approached.  There is also a bad spot South
of McClellanville but we sailed through at high tide so I did not take
notes.
