Discussion and technical support related to USRP, UHD, RFNoC
View all threadsHi all,
I'm trying to estimation initial phase difference to eliminate.
These're all N200 USRP, and one to be TX, others(two) are RX.
But I got serious signal loss.
My Rx sampling rate is 200k.
After 10000 samples, there were only noise.
Do you have any IDEA that what's the problem ?
I think my receivers are good, because my data from antenna is good.
And my transmitter is using GNUradio to set up.

Dear Shuang-Cheng Yang,
How do you make sure that the RX is receiving while the TX is sending?
Do you use a common PPS and timed commands?
Best regards,
Marcus

Dear Marcus,
Tx was set to send continuously. Rx will start to receive signal after that.
So I think Tx will be sending message when Rx starts to work.
Is there any problem in this setting?
Best regards

But if you don't "exactly" time the start of reception relative to the
start of transmission, how can you estimate a phase == time offset? Do
you have a GPSDO in each of your USRPs that you use to set an exact
device time?
Best regards,
Marcus
