TCC Summer Orchestra Concert August 12, 2023 11:00 AM Tacoma Community College, Building 2 (close to S. 12th and Mildred) FREE admission (donations encouraged) This Summer Orchestra is a community outreach experience offered by the Tacoma Community College Music Department. This volunteer ensemble meet for two rehearsals, and offers this casual concert as a celebration of music in our community. This fun and casual experience also offers a chance for musicians to experience the thrill of playing fun music in a large orchestra. This concert is FREE and open to the public. All ages are welcome to attend. House lights will stay on during the performance, and the musicians will be in casual attire. The performance will be ~30 minutes in length. Conducted by John Falskow, the orchestra will be performing music from familiar stories in film and dance.
