This is an unpublished opinion issued today by the 6th Circuit. City Manager is under some duress as a focal point of some on the council and is advised of an effort to terminate her employment. Prior to council action she advises council of a medical condition requiring surgery and that she will work from home. While away for this surgery/recuperation, council moves forward with termination vote. Court affirms lower court decision to grant summary judgment to city and council.
