In the spirit of this bewitching season, the Vuecrest Community Association (VCA) Social Committee is organizing a community pumpkin carving contest for kids of ALL ages…EVERYONE! Mark these spooky deadlines on your calendar… - *O**ctober 20 : Request / Reserve a Pumpkin **for the contest. **You may either use the pumpkin of your choosing OR request/reserve a pumpkin and the social committee will provide your competition pumpkin.* All homeowners interested in participating and reserving a pumpkin, please contact eileen.foley@gmail.com , cell (425) 449-0800. - *T**he weekend of October 24th and 25th*, pumpkins will be delivered. - *O**n Saturday, October 31…no later than 1:30pm*…place your “ENTRY” pumpkin at the entrance of your driveway for judging! Winners will be notified at 4pm Halloween night! Prizes will be awarded for the following categories … - Scariest pumpkin - Funniest pumpkin - Silliest pumpkin - Happiest pumpkin - Best cartoon character - Best animal face - Best ”traditional” pumpkin face - Best Pumpkin representing the "interesting" year that has been 2020.
