Thanks Tom and Brook for the reminders that a kind, understanding approach is the best way to approach a situation. I am afraid my knee jerk response was not helpful and not the best way to start a new relationship with our neighbors across the fence. As you pointed out, this is a big change for that neighborhood and there are many fears that go along with that. Being good neighbors truly extends beyond our fences and gates.
