In my opinion, I would like to read more ACTUAL experiences in the deployment and use of these devices. I have used 600 ft. of 3/4 nylon and a bait tank with some lead dive weights in it in a pinch- it worked. I will agree that you need to get it out before you can't get it out, and that the bow is not a friendly place in a good blow. However, book larnin can not replace real experience. If you have never thrown your parachute in the ocean with a big lump in your throat you can't know what it's like. Ok.... let me have it.
