We at the Nisqually Reach Nature Center would like to inform everyone about our summer camps this year. Nisqually Reach Nature Center Summer Camp For 3 days, we take students and a journey of scientific discovery as we learn about tide zones, salmon and bird migration, the biology of the organisms of Puget Sound and conservation of our nearshore habitat. We conduct scientific surveys of shorecrabs, bivalves, plankton, invertebrates and a fish sein - counting and/or measuring the organisms for compilation into long term data projects. We are located in the Nisqually river delta with picturesque views of both the Olympics and Mt. Rainier.
