Hi Ron Maybe I'm an optimist, but I think the dangers can be minimized by making sure only the right people get involved. And yes, there will be accidents because the boat will be used a lot. I think insurance can be had, and selling your interest can alway be done provided you find a qualifying replacement. Look at it this way. Spend $500,000 and not have any issues with anyone else, or spend only $100,000 and have some issues that you have to solve. Guess it depends on how deep your pockets are.
