Beam on swells are a big problem in the Sea of Cortez and otehr Pacific Mexian anchorages. Our Willard 40 is a very rolly hull. In the past we used flopper stoppers if things were very bad. Now we installed roll reducing fins (aka roll chocks) and we will see if we use the flopper stoppers less often. Richard
