Rainier Park at the Carbon River entrance (stop planned for coffee and snacks on the way, restrooms too) 1:30 Arrive at the Park entrance on the Carbon River. Short and long walks to see flood impacts from previous floods. Discussion on river hydrology and the Park's future by Bryan Bowden, Park Planner/Ranger. 3:30 Leave for the City of Sumner 4:30 Arrive at the City of Sumner. End of field trip.
