Press release from PDQ Yachts:
PDQ YACHTS CELEBRATES LAUNCH OF 100TH PDQ34 POWER CATAMARAN
In the spring of 2001, PDQ launched its first power catamaran. Five
years later and we're celebrating the launch of PDQ 34 hull #100.
Steve and Hedy Fagan, owners of PDQ 34-100 Volare, left Whitby early
last week for Block Island, RI via the St. Lawrence Seaway and Lake
Champlain.
The launch of hull 100 coincides with the construction of the first
PDQ 41 Power Catamaran slated to be launched this fall. Once the
major mechanical systems are in place, the deck will be fitted onto
the hull later this month.
The PDQ 34 has become the most successful product in PDQ's history,
establishing itself as the best selling cruising power catamaran in
North America. This success is largely attributed to well-engineered
and quality construction of the boats, as well as greater attention
to market requirements. PDQ's customer relations campaign that
includes programs such as PDQ U and an annual Flotilla program has
also established PDQ as a leader in the growing cruising power
catamaran market.
For more information about the PDQ 34 and the new PDQ 41, visit our
website at http://www.pdqyachts.com/.
When I pass along press releases that I cross my desk, I post them
for what they are, publicity releases from power catamaran builders,
designers, dealers and others which represent the viewpoint of those
same builders, designers, dealers and others. The discerning reader
may need to apply a grain of salt.
I post the releases for general information purposes, without any
verification or endorsement.
