WEST MARINE TRAWLER FEST INFORMATION LINE - SOLOMONS & GRAND HAVEN At GRAND HAVEN, MICHIGAN, the newest location for our event series, attendance has again proven that the trawler movement is alive and well, as over 381 trawler enthusiasts attended the seminar heavy agenda August 22-24. Dealers also were quite happy as several vessels were reported sold during the event. REGISTRATION IS NOW UNDERWAY FOR SOLOMONS, MARYLAND AS WEST MARINE TRAWLER FESTS CONTINUE TO BREAK ATTENDANCE RECORDS FOR 2002. Now as the season closes, the largest of all trawler events, converges on the middle of the Chesapeake Bay September 25-28. Last year's event was attended by over 100 boats and almost two thousand enthusiasts and pre-registration data for 2002 is running ahead of 2001. Highlights of this year's show include 44 seminars, two docking demonstrations, and a on-water recovery demonstration of a person overboard. Rounding out the program are afternoon product demonstrations, vendor exhibitions, etc. NEW REGISTRATION OPTIONS - There are dozens of boats on display for inspection, so one day is simply not enough to fully see the boats and enjoy the other activities. But we recognize that not everyone has the ability to attend the full event, so, in addition to the full event pass, advance registration options include both day(s) packages, and seminar packages.
