FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: May 21, 2019
___________

The City of Auburn and the Auburn Arts Commission are pleased to present the work of the Vanessa Baird at the City Hall Gallery, on view May 22nd - July 9th, 2019.

Experiences with the natural world are at the forefront of artist Vanessa Baird's practice. Everything from color palette to form is in one way or another a reflection on nature. An interdisciplinary artist, she enjoys working in a variety of mediums including clay, plaster, tea, wood, fabric and yarn. Alongside using the natural world as a template, Vanessa's work deals with the ideas of femininity and identity.
