Kellie was a former student of mine back at Manitou Arts Center in South Tacoma around 2015. She caught the clay bug as we all do. Last year I got to catch up with Kellie at a different studio before she headed off to MN to be with her daughter. It was hard to hear that she passed this year. I loved her excitement, adventurous spirit and energy. It will be missed! Yesterday her family dropped off a large collection of tools, glazes, underglazes and more for us to share with you all during classes and workshops.
